Points of Interest (POIs)
How Restaurantology identifies special location characteristics.

Updated over a week ago
Points of Interest (POIs) identify when a Concept has one or more units located in or near major destinations such as airports, malls, educational campuses, hospitals, train stations, or ports.
POIs are not a firmographic attribute or market segmentation factor. Instead, they provide helpful context for understanding where a brand operates and can be used to filter profiles or quickly spot relevant badges during searches.
[!NOTE]
POI badges and filters are most relevant for identifying brands that commonly operate in high-traffic, transient, or institutional locations.

For badge definitions, see Profile badges →.
For filtering instructions, see Browse using an advanced search →.
