Advice and answers from the Restaurantology Team

Are you using the free version of Restaurantology but curious to see what our other plans are all about? You might be interested in a free trial of the Pro or Business+ plan.

Benefits of a paid plan

When you start your free trial, you’ll be able to try out all of Restaurantology’s paid features, including the following:

Note: Business+ and Enterprise+ CRM integration may require setup calls and an initial assessment period.

Request a trial

If you’re a Restaurantology admin, contact us from the email address you used to sign up for your workspace to request a free trial. You won’t need to add a credit card to start your trial and you won’t be charged unless you choose to upgrade your license to a paid subscription plan.

What to expect when your trial ends

How you’re billed

Once your free trial ends, you may choose to upgrade your services with your Restaurantology representative.

Details of your upgrade will be solidified in a contract, complete with:

  • monthly or annual billing terms
  • payment type
  • an effective date and renewal terms
  • product and pricing details

Note: No upgrades can happen automatically, and no charges to any credit cards will be made prior to executing a signed contract with clear services and payment terms.

Downgrade back to the free plan

If you’ve upgraded via a signed contract but change your mind before the free trial ends, you can return to the free version of Restaurantology. Learn how to change your plan.

If you downgrade after the end of the trial, our Terms and Conditions apply. You can cancel at any time, but we do not refund payments for unused portions of the services.

If your free trial ends but you choose not to upgrade, you’ll move back to the free version of Restaurantology and can continue using it for as long as you’d like. Here’s what to expect:

FAQ

How do I know when my trial will end?

You can contact sales at any time during your trial to understand your trial end date and to discuss the option to upgrade your license.

How did we end up on a trial if no one on our team requested it?

We’ll occasionally provide trials to customers who we believe might benefit from using our paid features. These free trials are applied to licenses on a case-by-case basis.

Are there any paid features that I won’t be able to use during my trial?

You will not be able to trial Business+ or Enterprise+ CRM integration services without attending a configuration call with a Restaurantology specialist. The CRM trial is limited to one hundred (100) randomized records pushed to a custom object to confirm integration services have been established, and to give users the ability to see what data is pushed, how/where it is received, and how reports and dashboards will update inside the CRM.

How can I cancel my trial?

Your trial will be automatically cancelled on the trial end date. If you’d like to return to the free version of Restaurantology before that date, you can contact us.

Can I get a trial extension?

In some circumstances, we can grant extensions. Please contact us with details about why it would be helpful to have an extension and our team will review your request.

Can I defer my trial to a later date?

We’re unable to defer trials. However, if your trial ends and you’d like another chance to try our paid features, contact us and let us know which features you’d like to try.
